Max turns F I V E!

Max Palmer turned 5 about a month ago...

This year, the wait for his birthday was torture for him! He was super aware of all the birthdays that were coming before his... all his siblings, both his parents, countless other family members... all in just a few short months. And then when December finally rolled around, 3 of his cousins had birthdays still before his. Hahaha... he would say things like, "Everyone has a birthday except me!" We both thought we might not make it to HIS big day. But we did! 😃

This kid is still so much fun. So full of personality. His emotions are big... whether happy or sad.
He's pretty dramatic.
He's very sensitive.
He loves affection... he gives hugs and kisses all day long.
He loves praise.
He loves to make people laugh... especially his big brother. This means Max often takes his humor too far for the sake of Jack's amusement. That's what brothers do I guess.

And drumroll please........

His favorite person is most definitely still his Daddy. 💙

He is so much like Mark. I am seeing it more and more the older he gets. Their personalities are very similar, their emotions and sensitivity, their love for nature... he's a little Mark mini-me.

Max's love for the outdoors and critters has not wavered. He got to watch Mark shoot a bobcat this year. He was stoked! He's currently watching a fishing show on Netflix as I write this. He loves for me to pull up different kinds of hunts that people post... hog hunting, bobcat hunting, elk and moose hunting... the list goes on. And then he LOVES to gather all his stuffed animals and all his toy guns and play hunting for hours. This has been Finn's and his choice of play lately. It's really really cute.

Max is brave.
He is giving.
He loves to make others happy.
He can be a little twerp too... he has learned to antagonize. 😊 But he's learning that's not the way to keep friends.

We just love him. He has been a spit fire since his birth... literally his birth is my most "colorful" birth experience... high pain, high drama, high emotions. Yep. That fits Max to a T.

Happy Birthday buddy! We love you so much!!
